The idea
I've been working on this for 10 years. In different forms, with different technologies, trying to find enough people who think the same way to make it real.
The premise: most of what we consider "the economy" is a set of inherited assumptions about how value flows between people. Money is one implementation. But communities have operated for millennia on different systems — reciprocity, reputation, obligation, gift. TrustSphere is an attempt to build a digital infrastructure for those older, more human patterns.
We now have AI agents. The second iteration of this project might have brighter days ahead.

Gift Economy
Goods and services exchanged without explicit agreement for immediate or future rewards. Giving to the community without direct expectation.
Trust-Based Transactions
Interactions based on trust rather than monetary value. Mutual respect and support rather than price signals.
Liquid Democracy
Participate directly in decision-making or delegate your decision-making power to someone you trust. Flexible, inclusive governance.
TrustiFact
A digital record that captures and acknowledges every service or good provided. Contribution history as reputation.
Community Requests
Post requests for specific goods or services. Respond to the needs of others. Active participation and reciprocal aid.
Volunteering & Activism
Recognises and values non-monetary contributions. Documents efforts that are often overlooked.
